"Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted."
This picture has a police beating an incarcerated man and the police are saying this is a cruel punishment but they say it isnt unusual because they do it all the time. This picture connects to the constitution because the constitution says no cruel or unusual punishment should be the on anyone and the police are beating the man for no reason.
Wooskee--I'd like to see you take this further. First--is the cartoon referring to a specific event? Have police resorted to cruel and unusual punishment--if so, when and how? How do you feel about it?
